The company gives visibility via live platform access which provides real time data to maximise product margins and make better strategic decisions on stock control and process efficiency.
As an Application Support Consultant, your primary focus will be to exceed customer expectations. Your approach to customer services will be proactive and reactive. You will want to solve problems and consistently deliver the best services to customers.
Your contact with customers will take many forms, ensuring that your day is varied and challenging! You might be helping a customer with on-boarding, managing an account for a customer, solving ad hoc queries and ensuring that the customer is able to use their software to its maximum capacity and in a way which will deliver them tangible results.
You will have excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will be something you are known for. Many of the team are based in offices around the world so you need to be able take a forensic approach to time management and planning.
The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to clients, you will need to display empathy and patience and will have the drive to ensure that customers have the knowledge to select the right software solution (including the ability to implement) for their business.
You’ll need to understand the complexities of accounting principles and software and you will need to demonstrate an appreciation of the business processes which sit behind the movement of inventory and its flow – how this effects the clients balance sheet and the importance of stock control.

- An understanding of accounting principles and systems
- An impeccable approach to attention to detail and the ability to follow up – ensuring you are always going the extra mile for the client.
- You need to have a drive to succeed – solving problems, supporting clients, giving them your all…every call will be resolved, and every client will feel that they have your undivided attention.
Experience: You will have at least two years’ experience providing phone and email support to external customers, with at least one year of experience providing support for an accounting system.
You will have demonstrable experience in resolving customer queries and will have the ability to escalate problems as appropriate.
You will need to be able to communicate with people from all walks of life, big clients, small businesses, individuals who have reached the end of their tether! You will have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal and if you have fluency in another language that would be beneficial!
