Our client is looking for a Marketing Performance Executive. The job holder will be expected to develop and grow the performance of marketing activity through digital as well as other channels. This includes increasing initial traffic and engagement on several stakeholder and corporate websites as well as third party commercial relationships and social media. Refining the user journey and combination of online and offline channels to optimise the performance of campaigns, promotion of key messages and creation of positive business outcomes.    

Our client is looking for a Marketing Performance Executive. The job holder will be expected to develop and grow the performance of marketing activity through digital as well as other channels. The individual will support the Head of Marketing and work closely with other marketing teams to drive forward a marketing strategy to increase engagement and dialogue with our target audience. The position includes setting performance goals and measures, with a programme of continuous testing and improvement of performance.

As a marketing professional with a proven results track record the new role will be highly influential at a time of significant development in Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all marketing performance channels and campaign tools
  • Build and execute new campaign activity and promotion of key messages
  • Develop and optimize user journeys that nurture early client dialogue, using appropriate combination of marketing channels both online and offline
  • Manage and scale SEO activity and its performance
  • Support the development of the marketing performance strategy and objectives
  • Optimise activity and monitor quality versus quantity based on target audience and ROI measures
  • Support the Commercial Partnerships/Events team to grow traffic driving relationships
  • Test and influence the execution of new propositions to maximize engagement with target audiences across all available performance channels
  • Manage the performance of third party commercial partners and lead generation campaigns – working with the relevant Relationship/Account Managers where applicable.
  • Work closely with the data analytics team to track, and measure key metrics, ROI and activity against performance goals.
  • Work closely with relevant teams such as digital, data, creative, commercial partnerships and front office, on performance based activity
  • Manage and expand our rosta of key supplier relationships
  • Clearly brief requirements to supporting suppliers and agencies
  • Co-ordinate supplier relationships and review meetings
  • Monitor agreed budget and spend against each campaign

General responsibilities:

  • Capture and record daily delivery and campaign progress against plan
  • Review and uphold the integrity and principals of the Brand at all times
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and prioritise individual time
  • Actively champion the Partner Services Charter
  • Inform and educate the wider business by communicating specialist skill sets
  • Keep up to date on industry best practice & new technology

Required skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing performance or similar role
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing techniques
  • Deep understanding of all digital marketing channels
  • Relevant university qualification (BA / BSc)
  • Diploma or Masters qualification in marketing or equivalent
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to drive campaigns from start through to completion
  • Ability to analyse trends and set campaign KPIs and measurable ROI
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Proven supplier management experience
  • Passion for specialism
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent time management and deadline driven
  • Proactive with a collaborative approach
  • Willingness to find new trends and techniques 

Required Technical Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong knowledge of email broadcast, web platforms and technology
  • Strong knowledge of digital performance techniques including SEO and CPC
  • Broad knowledge of online and offline marketing channels
  • Knowledge of CMS systems and digital campaign tools, Microsoft Dynamics Faststat’s, Qlik, Power BI or similar
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics & ability to interpret data

Travel Requirements

Very occasional travel to suppliers and company locations if required
